::RECOMMENDATIONS:: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer Hands down my favorite books. Nine-year-old Oskar Schell is a totally original character who is traveling through New York to find the lock that fits the key his father left behind, who perished in the 9-11 Twin Tower tragedy. It's a lot like his other book (Everything is Illuminated) in the sense that it's about someone who goes in a "very rigid search" of something to find an answer to a question about their family, life, and self and end up leaving with a whole lot more. Trader Joe's Sugar-Free Dark Chocolate Truffle Anti-Oxidents ! Cutting your own hair You (well, I) seldom get a good haircut after I've payed someone $50+ for it. Ask About Me - Girl Talk Seriously, the best song to dance/make dinner to. (Am I right, Lily?) Anti- Superficial Social Events Like Myspace isn't enough, right? Grab your best/friend, play some board games, get cheap Mexican food, rent a bunch of movies, journal, lay on a grassy hill, cook a meal fit for kings, that sort of thing. Pesto on Toasted Sourdough Bread I most recommend Trader Joe's Genova Pesto and Trader Joe's Country Sourdough Bread, of course. Alright, alright, Trader Joe's Ah, blessed TJ's. Best food, cheapest prices, Hawaiian themed-stores, and check out clerks singing Aretha Franklin together. What more can you ask for? Moleskines Who can beat the best notebooks in the business? LDN - Lily Allen Most fun song, ever. more recommendations! stay tuned! |
